Sally Bohls is a professional performer and private teacher in the Dallas Metroplex. Sally is actively sought after as a guest soloist, clinician, and adjudicator throughout Texas. She has articles published in national and international magazines. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Texas Tech University and a Master of Music degree from Southern Methodist University. She has studied oboe with Stephen Lickman and Eric Barr of the Dallas Symphony and been a participant in master classes and seminars given by John Mack and Ray Still. Sally has played auditions and made the finals for the Boston Symphony and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Her students are extraordinarily successful at all levels and in all types of competitions. Sally tries to instill a profound sense of self-worth and joy of playing in all of her students. Her husband, Jon, is a professional musician/trombone teacher. Sally has three sons, David, Jason, and Mark who are successful musicians themselves. She currently resides in Carrollton, Texas.
